Wow... janelle monáe is doing HUGE things, and her hard work is paying off I see... and she deserves every bit of what she's getting! I remember singing with her, with the Morehouse Jazz Band, and our conversations of who would be the first, between us two, to make it big. CONGRATS JANELLE! YOU WIN! :-) I'm very proud of her. She has not let anything stand in her way of achieving her goal and she's making it happen for herself. Here she is in the September issue of GQ magazine which is in stores now.
