IT'S OFFiCiAL! DANiTY KANE IS OVER!

When "Making the Band" returns on February 12, fans already know two former members will be missing: Aubrey O'Day and D. Woods, who were dismissed from the group by Diddy last season. But they'll probably be surprised that Shannon Bex isn't there either, which apparently means the end of the band.

"As of right now, [Danity Kane doesn't exist]," Dawn Richard told MTV News on Wednesday (January 28). "It's devastating for me."

"You'll see me and Drea [Aundrea Fimbres] try and pick up the pieces on our own [on this season's show] — pieces that we didn't even make," she continued. "We didn't even break it and we're trying to sweep it up ourselves. Puff invited all the girls to come back on this season and they chose not to. Only two of us showed up. That's fine if that's the choice.

wow..i can say that i'm disappointed.  i actually thought this was merely a publicity stunt for the show's new season. sigh.. i really liked the group. they bumped! well hell...... 

SUSPECT iN HUDSON FAMILY CASE ARRESTED

ET confirms with Chicago Police that an arrest warrant has been issued in the Jennifer Hudson family murders.

William Balfour, estranged husband to Jennifer's sister, was issued the arrest warrant for three counts of murder. Until today, police had identified Balfour only as a person of interest in the investigation.

The body of Hudson's mother and brother were found shot to death on Oct. 24, and her nephew's body was found three days later.

I'm happy that they're finally coming to a close with this case. However, I still feel extremely terrible about what has happened to Jennifer and her family. May this be a step closer to their recovery and healing. Help us. Help us ALL! WHEW!

HUDSON TRAGEDY [UPDATE] : 'BALFOUR WAS iNVOLVED'

According to Entertainment Tonight: 

The Chicago Tribune reports that sources tell them that William Balfour's current girlfriend told police that he told her he had been involved in the killings of Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother. 

Police arrested Balfour at his pregnant girlfriend's apartment on Friday, Oct. 24 -- the day Hudson's mother and brother were found shot to death in their home.

Balfour, 27, is the husband to Hudson's sister, Julia Hudson, but they are separated. Julia's son was also found shot to death in an abandoned SUV a few days later.Balfour is a person of interest in the Hudson family killings.

It's still such a sad thing to know that lives were taken in such a selfish way.  This is

To fill you in; celebrities, fans, and friends alike are all showering the Hudson sisters with their prayers, love, and support.  The Hudson family announced that a memorial service will be held on Monday, November 3rd, 2008 at Chicago’s Apostolic Church of God.  Instead of flowers, the family has asked everyone to please bring donations to their brand new charity, The Hudson-King Domestic Violence Protection Fund.  Here's the address:

'AMERiCA'S MOST WANTED' TO HELP HUDSON

According to Entertainment Tonight News:

John Walsh of 'America's Most Wanted' says the show plans to help find Jennifer Hudson's nephew, Julian King.
"['America's Most Wanted'] will be following the case extensively and plans to broadcast a special segment about this crime on the Saturday, November 1st broadcast," John says.
Law Enforcement is still searching for the seven-year-old boy who went missing on Friday. That same day, Hudson's mother and brother were found shot to death in their home.
"We urge anyone with information about Julian King's whereabouts to call us [anonymously] at 1-800-CRIME-TV or e-mail us at AMW.com."

Man, this is terrible.  I'm sure you've heard all the updates so I won't post them here, but this is just the latest.  This is truly a nightmare for a dreamgirl. smh...

JENNiFER HUDSON MOTHER KiLLED

CHICAGO (CBS) ― Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson's mother was reportedly found fatally shot in a South Side home Friday, according to a representative of the family's church, CBS Station WBBM-TV in Chicago reported.

Two adults were found dead in a home at 70th Street and Yale Avenue Friday afternoon, according to the Chicago Fire Department.

A representative of the family's church, Pleasant Gift Missionary Baptist, confirms that 57-year-old Darnell Hudson was one of the victims.

Damn.... 

As soon as things take off for her, something tragic like this has to happen.  All i can do is shake my head and pray for her and her family's strength.  Wow. 

UPDATE: The other victim has been identified as Jennifer's brother, Jason. They were found by Jennifer's cousin. Police believe the shooting was the result of a domestic dispute. Police are reportedly looking for a man and a 7-year-old boy.
