It is official, Grammy winner R&B singer, Academy Award actress and former American Idol season 3 contestant Jennifer Hudson will be performing at VH1 Diva's live event hosted by Paula Abdul airing on September 17th at 9pm on VH1. She will be joining Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis, Miley Cyrus,and Jordin Sparks.
In other news, some of the presenters for the night have been announced which are:
Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge, Cyndi Lauper and Martina McBride. Kathy Griffin, Toni Braxton, Ryan Kwanten, Lauren Conrad from "The Hills", Whitney Port from "The City" and the cast of MGM Film Fame (Asher Book, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Kherington Payne, Naturi Naughton, and Walter Perez). They all join the show as presenters for the night.

It’s been reported that Jennifer Hudson gave birth late last night.According to sources, Jennifer Hudson and fiancee David Otunga welcomed their son late last night on the hush with not a speck of paparazzi in sight. Seeing as the two opted not to know the sex of the baby, they brought both pink and blue clothes to be on the safe side. From what we know, the baby weighed in at seven pounds, fourteen ounces and was named David Daniel Otunga, Jr. after his father.
No name or picture have surfaced but y’all know we got y’all as soon as the ink dries on J.Hud’s baby photo check. On a serious note, we are so glad to see a happy ending to the sorrow J.Hud has experienced in the past couple months.
