C'MON BLACK PEOPLE!!!!!! Both Beyonce and T.I. are ruling the top spots on the Billboard charts for this week.  Beyonce's Single Ladies is the "Airplay Gainer" of the week, moving up from 26 slots to this weeks #2 position.  Wow!  Jennifer Hudson is still holding on to the top five slot, being on the charts for 27 weeks, with Spotlight.

Funny video! If you haven't noticed, the leading lady is Taraji P. Henson, of Baby Boy and Hustle & Flow fame. Her and Jamie compliment each other well; maybe they should do a movie or something together. Anyways, good stuff.

WELL, my girl J.Hud debuts BIG this week with 217,000 copies! It’s the biggest debut for any female R&B album since 2004, and she follows T.I. with 500,000+. I'm proud. :-) Here's the chart:

GRAMMY ENTRY DEADLiNE : 9-30-08

Well isn't this interesting? Considering that 2008, by far, has been the best year for musical releases, its not wonder that everyone was pressed to get their album out by the beginning of Fall. Everyone from Madonna to Mariah Carey and Robin Thicke to Usher. It was an interestingly crazy year for music, period. With that being said, the deadline for any potential Grammy nominees ends on Tuesday, September 30th; the same day that some heavy hitters like Jennifer Hudson and T.I.'s albums drop. Does this mean Beyonce & Britney Spears' highly anticipated albums will have to wait until 2010?!?! It seems so. Here's to hopes that JENNIFER gets some nods!! [u know i had to throw that in there.] Anyways, all these albums and artists are gonna make for one hell of a show. The 51st Annual Grammy Awards airs on CBS in February. Of course i'll keep you updated on everything GRAMMY!
