According to Entertainment Tonight: The Chicago Tribune reports that sources tell them that William Balfour's current girlfriend told police that he told her he had been involved in the killings of Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother.
Police arrested Balfour at his pregnant girlfriend's apartment on Friday, Oct. 24 -- the day Hudson's mother and brother were found shot to death in their home.
Balfour, 27, is the husband to Hudson's sister, Julia Hudson, but they are separated. Julia's son was also found shot to death in an abandoned SUV a few days later.Balfour is a person of interest in the Hudson family killings.
It's still such a sad thing to know that lives were taken in such a selfish way. This is
