Sony Pictures has released the first pics of 'Obsessed', which stars Idris Elba, Beyonce, and Ali Larter.
Also featured in the film are Bruce McGill, Jerry O'Connell, and Christine Lahti.
Derek Charles (Idris Elba), a successful asset manager who has just received a huge promotion, is blissfully happy in his career and in his marriage to the beautiful Sharon (Beyoncé Knowles). But when Lisa (Ali Larter), a temp worker, starts stalking Derek, all the things he's worked so hard for are placed in jeopardy.
The film is produced by Will Packer ('Stomp The Yard', 'This Christmas'), with Beyonce serving as exec producer along with her father, Mathew Knowles.
Looks interesting. I wonder if this will be like another version of Halle Berry's movie Perfect Stranger. Only time will tell.

hmmmm Beyonce is Exec Producer on this film too eh...interesting. she's really trying to get that Oscar...maybe shell get it off the production on the movie bc she def won't get it off her acting abilities she gave me NOTHING in Cadillac Records...Columbus Short mde it all worth the while along with the rest of the talent...but he kilt(yes kilt) his character!!...unless of course the Academy Awards loose all morale...Will Smith hasn't even gotten one yet...ha!
beyonce and halle...in the same sentence, movie wise...an oxymoron at best.

i was comparing the movies because 'stranger' was a mess. i was just telling a friend that it seems she's only getting the role -without singing- because for the simple fact she IS exec producing it.
i agree, Stranger wasn't the best movie...but HER acting of course was stellar...the movie line was questionable tho. Beyonce is funny to me...im beginning to have mixed emotions concerning her...but who am i and what does she care about my emotions...lol.
